Who these terms are with
Services on this site are provided by Steven Palmieri, Dallas, Texas. Using this site means you accept what is on this page. What is and is not done in this practice is set out in full on the Disclosures page, and those limits are part of these terms.
What the pages here are, and are not
Everything published on this site is general information for business owners. It is not advice about your own numbers, and reading it does not make you a client. Tax and reporting rules change and land differently on different facts, so confirm anything that matters for your return before you act on it.
A free call is a conversation
The twenty minutes offered on this site creates no engagement, no ongoing duty and no obligation on either side. We will say plainly what we see and what an engagement would involve, including when the honest answer is that you do not need one yet. Work begins only when both of us sign a written engagement letter naming the scope and the fee.
Engagements, scope and fees
Every engagement is defined in writing before it starts. Fees are quoted for that scope, and anything outside it is quoted separately before it is done. Either of us may end an engagement in writing. You remain responsible for fees earned to that date and your records are returned to you.
What the work depends on from you
The work is only as good as what it is built on. You are responsible for giving us complete and accurate records, for the accuracy of what is in your own systems, and for the decisions you make. We will tell you when something does not tie, and we will not build on a month that has not closed.
The site itself
The words, layouts and images on this site belong to the practice that publishes it. Anyone may read, print and quote them with attribution. You may not republish the site or use it to train a product without written permission.
The site is provided as it is. We keep it accurate and available, and we do not promise it will never be wrong or never be down. Nothing here limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.
Where this is governed
These terms are governed by the law of the State of Texas, and any dispute belongs in the courts of Dallas County, Texas.
Your records stay yours
The books, the contracts, and the vendor list remain your records. We work in them while an engagement is open. When the engagement ends, copies you need come back to you, and we keep only what the engagement letter and ordinary record rules require. Ending the engagement is a written note from either side. Fees already earned stay due. Work not yet started is not billed.
A free call can end with a recommendation to wait. That is a complete answer. Waiting does not create a file, a duty, or a follow up you did not ask for. If you want the next step, the booking page and the form are both on this site, and the phone number in the footer reaches the same practice either way.
